Autumn 1986 season
62 expeditions, of which 24 put someone on the summit. 92 summits (82 by members, 10 by hired staff) and 15 deaths, among 485 members and 26 hired staff recorded.
Summits count member records: someone who summited twice on one expedition counts once, someone on two expeditions in the season counts twice. Claimed (unrecognised) ascents are excluded and disputed ones included, as in the database's own statistics. Hired staff are only recorded when they went above base camp.
