Autumn 1987 season

← Summer 1987 · Winter 1987 →

73 expeditions, of which 24 put someone on the summit. 97 summits (78 by members, 19 by hired staff) and 13 deaths, among 491 members and 36 hired staff recorded.

Summits count member records: someone who summited twice on one expedition counts once, someone on two expeditions in the season counts twice. Claimed (unrecognised) ascents are excluded and disputed ones included, as in the database's own statistics. Hired staff are only recorded when they went above base camp.
