Spring 1982 season
31 expeditions, of which 20 put someone on the summit. 134 summits (104 by members, 30 by hired staff) and 9 deaths, among 308 members and 49 hired staff recorded.
Summits count member records: someone who summited twice on one expedition counts once, someone on two expeditions in the season counts twice. Claimed (unrecognised) ascents are excluded and disputed ones included, as in the database's own statistics. Hired staff are only recorded when they went above base camp.
