Route Notes Expedition did no real climbing but walked up 6024m peak Lunchhung Kamo East peak in one day (7 July); BC 5700m to top to BC (10:00 am to 5:00 pm). Purpose of expedition was to explore passes between Nepal and Tibet in Kanti Himal region and they checked out about 10 such passes. Ohnishi - Sep 1, 2003: Ohnishi, Yanigahara, Chhuldim Nuru Sherpa, Kanchha Dawa Sherpa made first ascent of Yemelung Kang (6024m) on 9th July 1999 via West Ridge.
