| Route Notes | BC at bottom of little Tukuche's North Ridge (normal site) C1 at NW Ridge C2 at NW Ridge. Did not traverse as planned because members felt unable to descend and go up again to make second ascent and traverse: would have had to carry heavy loads and these clients not ready for that. However did climb Tashi Kang from same BC without any camp on Tashi Kang. Started from BC at 3:00 am by Borghese, Dufau-Joel and Grobel on 10 Oct. Up North Ridge and on top 2:45 pm, then down East Face to glacier on east and southeast side of eastern foot and returned to BC 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Left mountain via Hidden Valley north and then east to Kagbeni and to Jomsom for flight to KTM. Teams had no permit for Tashi Kang. |
