Route Notes BC just east of small lake due east of Tilicho C1 near bottom of South Ridge on the ridge C2 on South Ridge High point at 6600m. After C2 pitched, tried climbing 100-200m to left of S Ridge but because of stone fall in that side so retreated at 6100m to C2 and tried line 100-200m to right of ridge till at 6600m were almost back to ridge when stopped here by bombardment of falling stones plus too soft snow to progress up it. If had more snow and good snow would have succeeded; were slowed "significantly" by stone fall. At bottom near C1 and C2 some very loose and steep rock sections. Would not go back to this South Ridge.
Accidents McLachlan's elbow hit by falling stone & had to stop climbing
