Route Notes BC at southeast side of lake, 4 hours from normal site at northwest side of lake ABC at normal site at northwest side of lake C1 where NE Spur meets North Ridge High point at C1 Porters refused to carry to normal BC site because of snow and this made progress slow and awkward. Then in C1 very strong winds on night of 5th made inexperienced climbers go down next day with all equipment. Then cooking stove at ABC didn't work because of locally purchased unpure fuel. Now no time left.
