| Route Notes | BC northwest end of Tilicho Lake C1 at NE Spur C2 at junction of NE Spur and North Ridge. 10 Nov Mayor, Deriaz and Ang Sherpa left C2 for top, but wind too strong and Deriaz turned back at 6700m and Mayor and Sherpa to 6900m and then down. Both C2 that night. 11 Nov wind even stronger and down to BC that day and climb finished. Other 2 French members went to C2 on 9 Nov but turned back on 10th with other Sherpa (Nawang Chhu) to BC that day and left BC 11 Nov. |
