Route Notes BC north of Lobuche village C1 above icefall of Lobuche Glacier Biv at East Face. All members made route through icefall, which was unstable and difficult, but only Kamakura and Taguchi reached C1 while others went trekking and relaxed in BC with wives/girl friends. Face also difficult, mixed rock and ice steep (60-65 degree) and hanging glacier. Summiters left biv at 8:00 am on 28 Sept and on top at 10:30 am and back in BC at 6:00 pm.
