| Route Notes | BC on left side of Ledrub Lirung Glacier ABC on East Face C1 on SE Ridge C2 on SE Ridge High point at SE Ridge. Avalanche 22 March came down West Face when 4 Sherpas carrying loads up West Face but not hurt. Everyday small avalanches down 70-degree gully above ABC so climbed early morning or late evening up gully since no other route. Took too long time to make C2 because much snow on ridge and more snow falling. Unable to reach site for C3 at 6500m and because too much snow and snow on mountain unstable with ice below too thin to hold pitons. Every afternoon fresh snowfall. |
