Route Notes BC at normal site of Lirung Glacier ABC same as other Japanese Langtang exp. From 18th Dec 3 days of heavy snowfall & many avalanches. Kato and Tamang only pitched C1 on 18th and went down that day to BC because snowfalling and many avalanches. C1 occupied on 23rd by Hosoda and sirdar Tamang in summit bid. Reached C2 24th, sirdar descended 25th and Hosoda 27th because strong winds continuously and a little new snowfall. Rope and ladder already in place meant climb not so difficult; difficulty was the winds.
Accidents Tieko slight altitude sickness; Hosoda slight frostbite on toes (during descent from C2)
