Route Notes BC at correct site of Kangchung C1 on rocks below Spanish 1984 C2 C2 near 1984 at C4. Reached C1 via Nangpa La and followed Spanish 1984 Autumn route to C3 and from there more direct route to summit tried by others this autumn. 3 members and Ang Phurba left C3 at 6:30 am and arrived at top 1:30 to 1:45 pm (reached true summit after going long distance to reach it); route "long but easy"; windy days in Oct had blown Sept snow away. Ang Phurba to Everest top with 1985 Spring and 3 nations Spring 1988.
