Route Notes BC south of Chako Peak (6704), SSE of Bhrikuti C1 on moraine at bottom of South Face. Summit party of all members and Bikram Singh left C1 at 4:00 am; De Hults turned back at 5600m because too difficult for him without fixed rope and climb was alpine style. Others reached top at 10:30 am. Face snow on mostly 40 degree slope. Spent 1 hour on top in fine weather, to C1 at 1:00 pm. From C1 on 17th May went on glacier, made a camp there for exploration of the area and 18th May in BC. Climb moderately difficult, more difficult than Gyaji Kang's NW Ridge or Nemjung's West Ridge.
