Route Notes Planned C3 at 7000m but did not go above 6400m because huge avalanche came down from Sickle and cloud of avalanche in C2; had started up from BC on 14th Oct to C2 by 3 members (Martinez x 2 + Rodriguez). 15th up from C2 and avalanche made them retreat to BC on 16th. Would be very dangerous for next 15 days, so climb finished. From KTM will go trekking in Khumbu then go to Xixabangma, then perhaps return to Annapurna I or try Manaslu.
