Route Notes BC at Messner BC site C1 at beginning of NW Face High point at C1. Everyday snow, wind storm and cold. Went to C1 but did not sleep in tent he pitched there on 24th April. Because of heavy snowfall, had fixed 20m rope and came down to BC same day. Had to stay in BC 5 days because of storm, falling stones and many snow avalanches which came through C1 and broke tent. 30th April returned to C1 on first possible day and found tent broken, so down to BC. Tried to fly by parapente but blown only 1 minute and wind caused crash landing at 5000m (same place where had been on 23rd and had successful parapented to BC with same wind problem that closed but again opened parapente). Shoulder dislocated in crash landing. He relocated shoulder against rock and reached BC after 5:00 pm in beginning snowstorm. 3 or 4 May up to C1 to bring down gear there. In descent one piton came out from face and he fell 15m from 4800m and bruised his back. Cook had came part of the way to help bring down the gear and they came slowly down together to BC (but cook not helping Patscheider to descend).
Accidents Patscheider dislocated his left shoulder and later bruised his back
