Route Notes BC at 4500m at normal site C1 at 5200m before plateau (normal site). C2 pitched 28th Sep, but not slept in till summit push under way begining 5th Oct when pushed straight through through with series of bivouacs till reached summit on 11th. Had done acclimatization climbing before push. Technical problems between C2 and bivouacs at 6700m with danger of avalanche below 1st bivouac. Above 1st bivouac many seracs. 11th Oct very cold wind, crampons (coming off and while putting back on, fingers frostbitten) during descent. Perez and Kaji also toes frozen on 12th when took off snow boots (Gomez toes slightly frozen). Kaji (a friend) was member of team and ate same food, etc.
Accidents All 3 summiters frostbitten toes and fingers; BC cook may have cerebral edema
