Route Notes BC at 4200m at Annapurna Sanctuary C1 at 5400m at ice cave C3 at 6850m at ice cave. Planned to establish C4 at 7750m and then to middle summit and main summit. Weather was "awful" from 24th Dec to 2nd Jan. Heavy snowfall and again 25th Jan to 22nd Feb with also strong winds and low temperature as well; more than 2 meters snow covered all camps. Technically route not so difficult: usual climbing but snow was main problem even between C1 and C2 with 2m snow causing avalanche danger, where none normally exists. No accidents resulting in injury or serious frostbite or illness. 1 member went to Pokhara rest before climb finished including one with lung problem from altitude and cold (he is now recovered and will return to climb in spring season).
Accidents None resulting in injury or serious frostbite or illness
