Route Notes From 14 Peaks FB page: We are proud to share that the 14 Peaks Expedition team has successfully reached the summit of Annapurna l, standing at a majestic 8,091 meters, on the morning of March 7, 2025. The team began their summit push from Camp 3 (6700m) at around 5 PM on March 6, ascending through the demanding North-East Ridge Route. After a night of climbing in extreme alpine conditions, the summit was reached in the early morning hours. Notably, Eduard Kubatov and Chungi Yan achieved this incredible feat without the use of supplemental oxygen, showcasing exceptional endurance and alpine strength. Summit Members: Eduard Kubatov, Kyrgyz Republic (No 02) Mindaugas Satkauskas, Republic of Lithuania Maria Kim, Russia Chunqi Yan, China (No 02) Climbing Sherpa Team Dawa Chhiring Sherpa, Makalu Pasang Sherpa, Makalu Dendi Sherpa, Dolakha Nang Pemba Sherpa, Makalu Victor Rimac - 23 Apr 2025 Approach: Trekking to BC via Tatopani BC 26/03 4200m C1 -- C2 28/03 5500m C3 29/03 6400m HPt 07/04 6800m by Rimac After first rotation back down to BC for 29 and 30 March. Avalanche happened between C2 and C3 in the morning of 07/04. Summit push on 07/04. Rimac left C3 at 5 am. Many people on the route. There was a fixed rope which was put in by Mingma Gyalje from Imagine Nepal. Perfect conditions. When he reached 6800m at about 11 am, he decided that he could not continue. He felt that he was not properly acclimatised. He returned to C3 where he arrived at 5 pm. On 08/04 BC. On 10/04 Rimac went to Pokhara, stayed there for two days, then to Kathmandu for one day and then returned to ANN1 BC on 14/04. 17/04 to C2 18/04 to C3 19/04 High Point at 7900m by Rimac. 2nd summit push on 19/04. Rimac left C3 at 3:50 am on his own. There was a lot of snow and it was hard to break trail. He reached 7900m at 3 pm. The weather was too bad. It was a lot of wind and low visibility. There were no fixed ropes anymore. They had stopped at about 7600m. Rimac descended to C3 where he arrived at 9 pm. On 20/04 BC. Left BC on 21/04 trekked to Tatopani. Oxygen: Not taken, not used
