Route Notes Report by Stephen Hart: BC 04/04 4200m C1 07/04 5080m C2 09/04 5560m C3 14/04 6413m C4 15/04 6986m Smt 16/04 by Metcalfe, Warner, Chhiring Sherpa, Pasang Sherpa 2 pm. Hart and Pasang Sherpa and Metcalfe and her Pasang Sherp left C4 at midnight. Warner and Chhiring left from C3 also at midnight. There were about 15cm of unconsolidated powder snow. Sherpas broke trail. They were following the rope fixing team. Warner and Chhiring caught up with the team just below the summit. They summited together apart from Hart and Pasang (see below) and stayed for about 20 minutes on the summit. Warner and Chhiring descended to C3 where they arrived at 7 pm, Metclafe and Pasang descended to C4 where they arrived at 8 pm. Hart and Pasang Sherpa turned back at around 7000m at 2 am. Hart was too cold as he was only on one litre of oxygen and turned back. On 17/04 everyone was down at BC. Gear drop Gear was dropped at C4 on 15/04 by one helicopter. Ropes, fixing equipment, some oxygen bottles and food and gas were lowered to C4 by long-line. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to high point to C3 by Hart and from C4 to high point to C4 by his Pasang; C4 to summit to C4 by Metcalfe, Warner, Chhiring and Pasang. Left BC: 20/04 by helicopter to Pokhara by Warner and Metcalfe, and to Dana and then to Kathmandu by Hart. Notes by Tracee Matcalfe:
