| Route Notes | BC 13/04 4050m C1 16/04 5080m C2 20/04 5500m C3 01/05 6500m C4 12/05 7050m Smt 13/05 by Kim, Pechhumbe, Gelje Sherpa, Chhiring, Nima Tenji at 11:30 am. Summit team started from C4 at 9 pm on 12/05. They did not fix any rope on summit day, but moved on a rope together. Route was avalanche prone but Ok. A few falling seracs. Snow conditions were good, not too deep. They spent about one hour on the summit and descended to C4, where they arrived at 7 pm. On 14/05 everyone back to BC. Left BC on 16/05 by helicopter. Sherpas: Pechhumbe (Chumbe), Tashigaon, Makalu-Barun, 22/09/1987 Gelje Sherpa, Kagani-8, Okhaldhunga, 24/09/1977 Nima Tenje, Tashigaon, Makalu-Barun 11/10/1978 Chhiring Sherpa, Kagani-8, Okhaldhunga (1st 8000er) Fixed rope: 4000m from C1 to C4 Oxygen: Taken and used from C4 to top to C4 by member and Sherpas. |
