| Route Notes | BC 29 Mar 4200m C1 04 Apr 5100m C2 06 Apr 5700m C3 18 Apr 6400m Hpt 18 Apr 6400m by Soria, Lagunilla, Niclevicz, Muktu, Sange, Norbu, Pasang Temba, Jangbu. First summit attempt on 17 April by Soria, Lagunilla, Niclevicz, Muktu, Sange, Norbu, Pasang Temba, Jangbu. On 18 April the team was in their tents at C3, when an avalanche hit the camp. Nobody was hurt, but some of the tents were destroyed and they had to share one tent for the rest of the night. The next day everyone descended to BC. During the descent, another avalanche happened between C2 and C1 at about 11 am. The avalanche did not hurt anyone; they just got dusted. On 1 May, the same team left BC directly to C2, which they did in six hours. They stayed one night. There was another avalanche at 8 am but it did not hit C2. On 2nd May they went to the plateau at 5700m and they saw another avalanche and decided to abandon the summit attempt and descend to BC. They wanted to wait for better weather, but when it did not improve they decided to abandon expedition. They thought the mountain was too dangerous and there were too many avalanches. Lopez, Martinez and Salas reached C2 on 6 April. Lopez and Salas were filming and Martinez was the doctor and they were not intending to climb in these conditions. They stayed at BC for the rest of the expedition. Tena reached C1 on 4 April. He never intended to climb to the summit, as he was the journalist. On 6 May everyone flew to Pokhara and then everyone, apart from Niclevicz went trekking around Manaslu.
