Route Notes Kim's summit bid started from BC to C1 on 1 Oct. On 2 Oct to C3, started from C3 at 00:30 of 3 Oct with Miss Oh and Kim Jae-Soo. When the team arrived at 7700m it was complete white-out, started snow shower and wind. The team and others descended to C1 where they reached at 7:10 pm, slept there next day to BC. The team left BC on 9 Oct by helicopter to Lete, trekked to Beni and by bus to Kathmandu on 11 Oct. Kim team will leave Kathmandu on 16 Oct. Kim is planning to come for Cho Oyu or Annapurna I in Spring 2010. Fixed rope: 300m contributed. Sherpas: Tendi Sherpa, 21/11/87 (05/08/2044), Makalu-9, no 8000ers (new Sherpa) (his high point was below C3) Phurba Ongel Sherpa, 30/7/81 (15/04/2038), Sedua, Makalu-9, summited Annapurna I in Spring 2009 with Korean team
