Route Notes The team met with difficult snow and weather conditions already during the approach by the Dhaulagiri tour (snow from 4800m; blocked for 3 days at the Japanese base camp). So after one attempt of Tukuche (with snow up to the hips) and after the team could reach the summit of Dhampus in heavy snow, they decided to finish the expedition as the conditions were becoming even worse. In fact, the descent from BC was rendered difficult by the snow. Summit of Dhampus on the 23 October by the Merk, Spindler and Uttendorfer at 11:30 am by the western ridge.
