Other Summits Tashi Kang traverse to Tsartse

Route Notes On 15 May, the day after the team had established C1 at 6030m, they began to fix rope in their traverse of Tashikang to reach the SE Ridge of Tsartse. The 16th was a rest day in C1. Light snowfall began. The 17th the four Romanians began their summit push from C1 at 1:00 am. But they got no farther than 6330m because of the extreme cold; Amzarov's toes were in danger of freezing. They turned back to C1 and their climb was over. They had no time for a second summit bid. They descended to BC that day and left BC on the 18th to return to Kathmandu. On the 19th they were back in Marpha, and from there they trekked to Pokhara to fly to Kathmandu on the 22nd.
