Route Notes BC at Thyangpo Kharka Biv in small couloir High point at biv. Acclimatized on Parchermo only to 5900m on 21 Jan because of strong winds, then back to BC same day. 24th 3 members up from BC and up couloir of hard snow to its top at 5100m then traversed to right to small couloir where stones coming down but up it anyway; all bare rock, no snow, no ice in -14 degree temperature at BC therefore about -20-25 in 2nd couloir. Biv at 5:30 pm at 5400m. 25th down. Wanted to climb on ice because safer and can do it faster - then changed line to left; started up at 1:00 am of 28th by Mateo and Vidal (other had slightly frostbitten toes). Looked for an ice couloir, climbing over many long and little stones from earlier avalanches and more stones coming down; lost their way on moraine and stopped at 5100m at 5:00 am to wait 1 hour for sunrise; then saw 3 possible lines but too dry and one only very thin ice so back to BC and Namche same day to climb Namche Icefall, which Gonzalez and Mateo climbed to top while Vidal filmed them.
Accidents Gonzalez slightly frostbitten; no injury from falling stones
