Route Notes BC at 6 hours porters trek beyond Monjo, west-southwst of mountain C1 at West Ridge to point 6346m C2 on this very long West Ridge Biv on ridge. Batard, Lhakpa and Pemba to Pt 6346m on 26th Oct and returned to C2. Before that had long period of constant heavy snowfall. 27th Oct 2 members tried to reach the peak but stopped between Pt 6346m and main because too difficult ridge (very sharp snow ridge). 29th Oct 2 members up from BC to NW Ridge of main peak direct. Bivouac at 6250m on NW Ridge halfway to Pt 6346m and on 30th Oct at 5 am left bivouac and reached main summit at 12 pm and returned to biv that night, to BC 31 Oct. No more summit attempts because others tired.
