Route Notes Duff & Allan - 13 Oct 82 Hind walking out, arrives KTM about 16 Oct; wasn't well and didn't climb at all. Thamserku: 6346m = North Summit BC was 14,000 feet at most Duff - 23 Aug 82 Thamserku route = West Ridge, right above Namche (new route) Leave KTM 7 Aug by road to Kirantichap, 10 days to Namche Thamserku BC about 8 Sept on close to bottom of West Ridge as possible at about 16,000 feet. Alpine-style with no fixed camps, fixed ropes and Sherpas. Rroute is a bit technical. About 5 days up and 2 days down "quicker if possible" on Thamserku.
