Route Notes BC at 4800m at snout of Thengpo Glacier ABC at 5300m glacier at bottom of SE Face C1 at 6050m at SE Face Central Ridge. Arrived at base camp on 3 November at 4800m at the snout of the Thengpo Glacier. Had a look around, decided their originally selected route was impossible, and anyway planned to climb Parchermo and did so with all members reaching the summit. Pitched ABC on 12 Nov at 5300m on the glacier at bottom of SE Face. Climbed the central ridge of the SE Face. Established C1 on 17 Nov at 6050m on the ridge. Divided into two summit parties. First one of Ezaki, Ruchia Takahashi, Tul Bahadur Tamang and Pasang Tamang, got to the top on 4 Dec, and the next day the other party of Reiko Onda, Ryutaro Morishita and Danjeet Tamang were on the summit. These were the first and second ascents of the mountain. Team left base camp on 8 Dec to return to Kathmandu.
