Route Notes The two-member team first went to Lobuche East to acclimatize. They climbed via the North Face Tsho Glacier to 6000m on 9 November. On the 11th, they went to Pheriche for a week, then on the 19th moved north-northwest to Duglha village at 4620m, east of Tshola Tsho (lake) and north-northwest of their mountain. They had no fixed camps including no fixed BC; as they moved up and down the mountain, they carried all their gear with them as they climbed in alpine style and traversed the mountain. On the 20th they bivouacked on the North Face at 4930m. The next day they climbed to 5500m and spent the night there, then descended to Duglha village on the 22nd. On the 25th they returned to 4930m and now made their ascent of the North Face of their mountain. On the 26th they bivouacked at 5600m and on the 27th at 6000m. On 28 November they were on the 6495m summit and descended the South Face to 6000m and their last bivouac. From 6000m, on the 29th they traversed to the East Face and went all the way down this face and on to Pheriche on the same day.
