Route Notes At first the team attempted Tashi Kang II believing it to be Tashi Kang I. When they understood their mistake, they came back down and moved their base camp to the correct one under Tashi Kang I on the 7th October. [The team then summited Tashi Kang I on 13 October.] On the 13th October the team went back to the BC and stayed there on the 14th, both Sherpas having contracted temporary snowblindness (poor snow glasses quality) and Tsuruki having a rest. After the 14th October, the weather turned bad with heavy snow, so it was impossible to go for Hongde Peak [which was also in their plans], so the team went back earlier than expected on Kathmandu.
