| Route Notes | From unnamed not could see which of neighbouring mountains was Tashi Kang so after ascent of this unnamed peak, moved from its C1 to Tashi Kang. On 19th April went from unnamed peak's C1 down East Ridge to a col 6050m and up SW Ridge of Tashi Kang to its SE Ridge. Very difficult on SW rock ridge 100m rope, very steep and sharp and some crevasses; SE Ridge 60-degree ice but no rope fixed because no time and little rope available. Very interesting climb: constantly changing with difficult terrain and crevasses and small face. Slept in C1. 1:00 pm on top, 6:00 pm Beltrame and Zill at C1. 20th April down to BC. |
