Route Notes BC at Dhaula I BC C1 on eastern end of Sita Chuchura's 3 South Ridges C2 on dome where ridge turns west C3 on central South Ridge. From C2 descended 200m to glacier between eastern and central South Ridge, then on to Central Ridge where pitched C3 and followed Central Ridge, then on to central ridge N to beginning of E Ridge, which (E Ridge) involved technical climbing on 55% of hard snow. Only one summit bid because 2nd summit team in C2 ran out of gas, spent a day without drinking anything and therefore not in good condition. Then 2 days of snowfall kept team in BC 2 days extra. Hameau couldn't find C2 in night, had hallucinations, in morning succeeded to find C1.
