Route Notes	8 Sept from BC east on Namta River and south to large glacier at 5400m on north northeastern approach to mountain. They believed to be Saribung (spelled Srilkum on Dept of Survey Damodar Himal map and Ohnishi's '01 map or actually slightly north of Seilibum). In any case they did not have the equipment they would need to cross this glacier nor enough time cross it and do some climbing, so they returned that day to BC and left it the following day without doing any climbing. Another factor in their retreat was unfavorable weather with cloud covering the mountains above 6000m With the 2 Japanese to the edge of the glacier were the cook and trekking guide Krishna.
