Route Notes BC at Annapurna Santuary near Slovenian BC ABC at top of Icefall C1 just below beginning of South Face High point at C1 site. C1 not occupied; went down on 14th Sept because plan was to deposit loads only that day and next day to sleep there but heavy snowfall. 17th tried to go up to C1 but snow chest-deep and turned back, having reached no higher than 5000m. All down to BC 17th and climb finished. Too long time before snow conditions would make climbing possible. Fixed much rope because of long glacier and icefall.
