Route Notes BC at Dhaulkar Khola C1 at top of short East Ridge of Point 6349 on Japanese map High point at top on icewall where loose rock was covered by powder. From C1 turned to northwest to huge glacier-icefall; went through glacier, which had little snow on it, and not into icefall. Intended to make C2 at upper part of glacier but too dangerous from falling ice. On 20 Oct intended to go to top from C1 but stopped by loose stones covered by 30 cm of powder snow above ice wall. Unable to fix rope and for every step up, whole step back so returned to C1 and BC next day and climb finished. All summits of Raksha Urai are very difficult. All members reached C1.
