Route Notes BC near glacier southwest of mountain headwaters of south branch of Dogari Khola. C1 on rock between 2 ridges running south from point 5395 on Japanese map. C2 on ice slope north-northwest of C1. Intended to put C2 at 5500m but ran out of rope before reaching this height and camped at 5300m. Did not dare to go on because very steep ice, too dangerous to continue without fixing rope here. Climb finished. Not enough time to try another approach. Descended on 21st: Dawa Temba to BC, Buhr and Dawa Norbu to C1. All in BC 22nd and left BC 23rd. Excellent weather. Were trying to get onto Putha Hiunchuli's W Ridge from south, which meant crossing several ridges. They did not reach the W Ridge.
