Route Notes BC 24/09 4900m C1 26/09 5600m C2 29/09 6100m Smt 30/09 by Trittler at 12:25 pm Smt 03/10 by Locher and Kusang Sherpa at 10 am. Trittler and Locher stayed at C2 together on 29/09. They left C2 at about 5 am to go for the summit. After about 200m going towards the summit Locher lost the skins of his skis and decided to turn back. He skied down to C2 to wait for Trittler. Trittler carried on skinning up. He was completely on his own. He stayed for about 10 minutes on the summit. He skied down to C2, picked up Locher and they skied down to C1 together from where they walked to BC. They arrived at BC at around 5 pm. Locher, Patrizia Russ and Kusang (with snow shoes) left BC again (skinning) for a second summit push on 01/10. On 02/10 Russ turned back at around 5800m as she was low on energy due to an upset stomach she had been suffering from. On 03/10 Kusang and Locher left C2 at 3 am. The conditions were not as good as on 30/09 as the snow had been blown away. The ground was hard and icy. Locher used ski crampons and Kusang used snow shoes. They stayed for about 5 minutes on the summit as it was very windy. Trittler skied all the way to C1 on the way down they broke down all camps. They walked to BC, where they arrived at 4 pm. Spieth reached 5800m on 29/09. She did not carry on due to a cold. She was feeling too weak to carry on. Patrizia and Rebecca Russ reached 6100m (C2) on 29/09. This rotation was intended to be an acclimatization rotation and they did not join the spontaneous summit push of Trittler and Locher. Rebecca Russ did not join the second summit push as she was feeling too weak due to stomach problems. Team left BC on 05/10. Fixed rope: From 5950m to 6050m on a snow flank. Oxygen: Not taken, not used. Sherpa: Kusang Sherpa, Pokhali, Okhaldhunga, 31/11/1974
