Route Notes BC 25/09 4920m C1 29/09 5460m C2A 04/10 6080m by Boeck and Feichtinger C2B 04/10 6300m by rest of members Smt 05/10 by Garber, Noichl-Platzer at 10:30 am. All members ascended with skis (skinning). Summit team, Kay and Mizelli, Kunga Sherpa and Ang Kaji Sherpa left C2 at 2:15 am. Kay and Kunga Sherpa reached 6800m; however, Kay was not using his skis and found it too hard as he was breaking in. They turned back and descended to BC. Mizelli and Ang Kaji reached 7100m. Mizelli found out that he had frostbite and turned back with Ang Kaji. Kai skied down to C1 and descended to BC the same day. On 06/10 he was picked up by helicopter and flown to Kathmandu. He has frostbite on both hands, and will probably lose parts of two fingers. Garber and Noichl-Platzer continued to the summit in good weather. They spent about 10 minutes on the summit (it was very windy) and then descended on skis to C1 and then walked to BC. Feichtinger and Boeck reached 6180m. They had stayed at a lower C2 at 6,080m as they were both feeling sick with an upset stomach. On 05/10, they ascended for another 100m to take photos and then skied down to C1 and continued to BC walking. Team left BC on 07/10. Fixed rope: 50m below C2 at 5800m. Oxygen: Not taken, not used. Sherpas: Kunga Sherpa Ang Kaji
