Route Notes BC 29/09 4950m C1 03/10 5400m C2 06/10 6000m C3 09/10 6200m HPt 10/10 ~7000m by Kofler, Als, Kunga Sherpa and Thiren Yakha at 10 am. Party left C3 on summit push at 2:30 am. Weather was cold and windy. They spent too much energy walking through deep snow. Als and Kofler had problems with their fitness, they didn't have enough energy to go all the way to the summit. They skied down almost all the way down to BC. They reached BC at approximately 4 pm. Team left BC on 12 Oct. Fixed rope: about 50m just before C2. Oxygen: taken and used by Horst Kofler at C2 (6000m) for better rest during the night on 6 Oct. Sherpas: Kunga Sherpa Thiren Yakha
