| Route Notes | BC above lake almost at foot of ridge C1 at top of ridge (flat spot just below its tip) C2 just below col High point at East Ridge. On 11th down to BC. Impossible to go higher; "most and wall" icewall above huge crevasse and big 300 ft serac wall dangerous. Would have been possible to get around these barriers only with much more manpower, ropes, etc. |
