Joos - 2 Nov 92 4/10 Depart Switzerland 5/10 Arrive in KTM 6/10 Stay in KTM 7/10 Fly for Lukla and approach to Phakding 8/10 Arrive in Namche Bazaar 9/10 Excursion in Namche 10/10 Approach from Namche over Pheriche and Lobuche to Pumori BC at 5320m 13/10 Stay in BC 14/10 BC to deposit in 5700m. Joos climbs to official C2 in 6150m and returns to BC 15-16/10 All stay in BC 17/10 H Zingg, R Cavigilli, P Marugg, T Waelchli, D Santschi and Norbert Joos climb to C2 from BC. Waelchli and Santschi descend to BC. 18/10 P Marugg and Norbert Joos fly by paraglider from C2 to Gorak Shep. H Zingg and R Cavigilli descend to BC. 19/10 E Marti, S Bucher, W Vollbrecht and H Gimm climb to C2 and stay overnight. 20/10 H Zingg, P Marugg and Norbert Joos climb to C2. 21/10 All above members climb Pumori summit from C2. start at 5:30 am and get summit at 12:00 together with two American climbers. All summiters descend to BC at 17:00 hours. 22/10 All above climbers get up to 6550m and got back to BC, no summit. 23/10 E Marti climbs direct from BC to summit and returns to C2. Starts at 2:00 and summits at 1:00 pm, was alone. W Vollbrecht, S Bucher & H Gimm climb to C2. 24/10 E Marti and W Vollbrecht climb to 6500m and all go back to BC. D Santschi climbs with French members to C2. 25/10 D Santschi climbs summit together with French leader and his Sherpa. Start at 6:00 am and summit at 15:30 pm, returns to C2 at 18:00. 26/10 All members at BC. 27/10 All members except leader leave BC to Lukla. 28/10 Leader and staff leave BC for Namche and Lukla. 30/10 Arrive in Lukla 1/11 Leader arrives in KTM by flight from Lukla. 2/11 All members arrive KTM from Lukla.
