Route Notes BC near lake. Pitched tents at C1 and C2 on 2nd and 3rd Oct. On 6th Oct Finkbeiner and Roepke left C2 4 am and 10:30 am on top and in BC 3 pm. Went first to fix ropes above C2 and see route. On 9th summiters (Breuer and Icelander Gunnarsson) from C1 at 4:00 am to top at noon and back to C2. Breuer reached C2 at 4:00 pm while Gunnarsson fell just above C2; went down East Face and body found by Roepke on 10th in pieces; brought down by avalanche on 10th. On 10th Breuer reached BC after the avalanche which brought body down. Left BC 13th Oct.
