Route Notes BC towards SE corner of big lake ABC at bottom of ridge pillar on SE side (pillar that ends at snow plateau) C2 at top of this ridge High point at East Ridge. Route completed to C2 at 6600m on 28th March by Sherpas while only Mori in C1, Kato in BC, Kitazawa going up from BC to ABC and Matsuda up from ABC to C1. On 28th morning 8 am on radio Mori coming down that day to BC; at 12:50 pm Nima Temba now in C1, Mori's equipment in tent but no Mori. Matsuda going up from ABC to C1 was asked by BC to investigate. Matsuda arrived C1 1:40 pm and decided to climb into crevasse and found Mori 170m down in crevasse dead, no body pulse; body very cold; could not remove, very tightly jammed. Climb finished and next day brought down C1. Body left in crevasse (dangerous to descend in crevasse). Team left BC 1 April.
