Campsites BC(17/10,5300m),C1(18/10,6200m),Smt(19/10)
Route Notes BC at south end of large lake C1 at same site as others this autumn. Neuspiel and Sterritt on 18th went up towards C1 site. Sterritt got very ill on the way but continued to C1. Next morning Sterritt unable to descend alone or go up so Neuspiel went alone to summit. Left C1 6:40 am and on top exactly 6 hrs later and down to C1, fell into crevasse on the way and in C1 1:30 pm. Both to BC that afternoon/evening. Todd never reached BC. Thompson arrived at BC on 19th Oct with no one to climb with, unwilling to solo so never went above BC. All fixed ropes had been cleared the day before Neuspiel arrived at BC.
