Route Notes Di Pauli and Pfeifer suffered from HAS. Hofer, Pixner, Reiterer and Staffler started from C2 at 8 am on 16 Nov. They got to the top at around 12 noon. They stayed on summit about 5 minutes. It was very cold and very strong wind. They descended to C2 at about 2 pm and continued to C1 where they arrived at 5 pm. slept there. Next day 17 Nov went down to BC. Di Pauli and Pfeifer climbed up to 6200m on 12 Nov. Di Pauli had very bad cough and Pfeifer had severe headache. Both members left BC on 14 Nov by helicopter and left Nepal on 19 Nov. Climbing route was steep 50-60-degree ice and rock climbing, at different places there were 90-degree vertical rock climbing altogether about 50m. In general the route was very exposed and mixed snow, ice and rock and very long ridge (2000m). Fixed rope: between BC to C2.
