Route Notes BC at usual camp site C1 at usual camp site C2 at usual camp site. On 24: six members and Mingma left C2 at 03:30 hours. At 6900m Clarke, Donohue, Huskins and Kenyon turned back. Havgvaldstad, Njaa and Mingma continued and summited at 10:30 hours. Stayed on summit about 15 minutes - Back to C2 at 13:00 hours. Next day to BC. Summit day was clear, little windy but cold. Mingma Nuru descended to BC. The members who turned back from 6900m were: Clarke due to frostbite; Donohue felt cold and no more energy; for Huskins it was just enough; and leader Kenyon accompanied them to BC. Clarke was evacuated from Pheriche by helicopter. Leader Kenyon returned to KTM on 31st. Four member arrived KTM on 30th. While descending Kenyon met Serbian expedition below C2 - they were ascending. When Kenyon team left BC, Swiss Austrian Expedition was in BC to try for summit. Three Italian team also returned same day of Kenyon team to KTM. Sherpas: Mingma Nuru Sherpa: (22/4/69) summited Everest 3 times, Lhotse one time, Pumori one time, Cho Oyu two times and Ama Dablam one time. He is from Pangboche. Mingma Tenzi Sherpa (21-10-1967) from Khumjung. He climbed up to C3. Huskins will be going to Ama Dablam with Jagged Globe in Nov 04. The rest of the members will leave KTM Nov 03.
Accidents Clarke got minor frostbite right foot toe, right hand, middle and ring finger and thumb
