Route Notes BC near small lake below long one at Gorak Shep C1 at bottom of face C2 on pillar High point at C2. 22 April to 5900m fixing ropes, then snowfall began and down to BC 22nd. Everyday snow fell and down to Dingboche 23rd to rest and wait for good weather. 25th back to BC. 26th to C1 to sleep and to fix better lines above it. All night more snowfall. 27th up the lines to 5900m; more snowfall that day but set C2 at rock platform. 28th decided not enough time to reach top. This is the first time in Himalaya and realized had not allowed in plans enough time for bad weather. All members businessmen who had to return home, so climbing attempt finished and back to BC 28th April.
