Route Notes BC at near the small lake (not in the map) of Pumori Glacier C2 on the snow ridge. May 05 - two Sherpas carried equipment to C2 and down to BC. May 06 - snowfall in the morning, about 2 pm left BC for C1. Spent night (leader, Borneman, Dominicus, Nyssen and Walthuis). 07 - snowfall down to BC. May 08 - rest day - two Sherpas to C2 spent night. 09 - leader, Nyssen and two Sherpas spent night - night windy. 10 - snowfall in the morning - around 8 am went up to 100m high, snow about 80 cm - down to BC. 11 - Dominicus and Walthius went up C2 and returned to BC. 12 - Borneman and two Sherpas brought back equipment to BC. Note: new leader was sent to join the team as the original leader suffered from lung infection and flown to KTM from Pheriche on April 29. New leader, who was with Island Peak trek, joined the team on May 3 at BC. He arrived in KTM with trek team on March 3.
