Route Notes	Biv 1 at where Canadians had biv on 7 May and had stayed (not 6000m) High point at top of Pillar. In seven days got to top of Pillar with 2 Canadians 14 May. 15 May rested. 16 May Canadians started up at 3:30-4:00 am but Italians went down and 17 May in BC. Decided pillar was enough and relations not good with Elzinga (with Peter Arbic good relations). Pillar same parts not difficult but others quite difficult rock (but good rock) with 30% ice, 70% rock. "Nice route" in good snowless conditions. Came down Bonington route.
