Route Notes BC at 4600m at Dudh Kundh valley Deposit/depot at 4900m at edge of valley. 4 members to deposit camp and slept there. Push up onto glacier very difficult because 4-5 feet deep with boulders below and therefore dangerous. Got rain and snow afterwards. Depots tents destroyed and replaced and on 10 Oct McNally went up to 17,500 ft (5350m) by a different line and saw lot of snow higher on mountain. Again bad weather, so 14 Oct decided to quit because of deep snow, no Sherpas and little time left. Never reached SW Ridge.
